Description
PRINCIPLE OF THE ASSAY This assay employs the quantitative indirect enzyme immunoassay technique. CHIKV NSP1 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards or samples are pipetted into the wells and any Anti-CHIKV NSP1 hIgG present is bound by the immobilized protein. After washing away any unbound substances, a HRP conjugated probe is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of Anti-CHIKV NSP1 hIgG bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Used for the quantitative determination of Anti-CHIKV NSP1 hIgG concentration in serum and plasma.
